Sweet Home serves as a starting point for the current discourse. Public art doesn't necessarily have to be immobile. Sweet Home is a boat that can sail, using the metaphorical freedom of water to engage with various cultural contexts over time, without overlooking the theme of sustainability. Sweet Home is a nomad.
The cables securing the artwork to the two reinforced concrete pedestals buried in the site can be rearranged so that the artifact can be transported (towed), thereby eliminating its attachment to a specific location. Sweet Home has no locks, and despite its armored and military appearance, it is open to cultural and creative windows.
